Family Fun Coming To The Point In 2014
Cedar Point has announced their plans for the 2014 season. All of them will take place in the Gemini Midway section of the park. The plans include two new family rides coming to the park.
Lake Erie Eagles, a Flying Scooters ride manufactured by Larson International. This is quite a popular type of ride with installations at Hersheypark, Knott's Berry Farm, and Darien Lake. Also being added, Pipe Scream. A coaster-like version of a Zamperla Disk'O. There is only one other version of this ride, it is Tiki Twister at California's Great America.
Not only that, Cedar Point also announced a two year renovation plan for Hotel Breakers. In phase one, the exterior of the hotel will receive a fresh new paint job. Making it more vibrant. in phase two, the interior of Hotel Breakers will receive a major renovation.
I'm excited to see how these new additions will turn out next year.

Banshee announced!
Kings Island announced their new roller coaster, Banshee. The ride will feature 7 inversions, including a dive loop, gigantic batwing, 2 loops, a zero g-roll, and an inline roll. Not only that, it will be the longest inverted coaster in the world! The ride is going to be 167 feet high, reach speeds up to 68 mph, and 4,124 feet long. Banshee will replace the Son Of Beast roller coaster. Which was the tallest and fastest wooden coaster in the world. But suffered from long amounts of downtime and insane roughness. Hopefully Banshee will have a better lifetime than Son Of Beast did.

And The Winner Is.....
The Golden Ticket Awards are complete. And many suprises happened. First off, I'd love to say that El Toro now is the god of all wooden coasters. It is the best in the world. Also, the Best New Ride catagory had a major suprise. Wild Eagle is voted the best. Not Skyrush. That's a shock in it's self. Skyrush was expected to be voted one of the best coasters in the world. But, it didn't even crack the top 10. Barely cracked the top 50. It's a shame since it's my 2nd favorite coaster. Anyway, I'd love to hear your opinions!

The Joker is coming to Six Flags Mexico
The Joker will have you spinning for more in 2013. Heading for Six Flags Mexico, The Joker will be 53 feet high, travel through 1,351 feet of track, and go through the "Tunnel Of Terror". This ride was previously Pandemonium at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. It was removed to make way for Superman: Ultimate Flight. The ride will open next spring.

California's Great America Strikes Gold
Better late than never. It took 3 years, but California's Great America is getting their long anticipated GCI woodie. Gold Striker, a 108 foot wooden coaster. The ride's 103 foot drop hugs the Sky Tower as it reaches 54 miles per hour, and races through it's 3,197 feet of track. Can't wait to see this bad boy run in Spring of 2013.
An overview of this ride.
